Food Grade (MAP Gases)

Looking for the right Food Grade gas for your application?

The WestAir FreshPak brand of food-grade gases conforms to 'food grade' regulations outlined by FDA guidelines.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) applications mainly use carbon dioxide, nitrogen and oxygen. These gases are used either alone or in combination. The right gas and/or mixture takes the gas properties, and the interaction of gases with the food ingredients, into account.

Other food grade gas applications include chilling and freezing in liquid form including liquid nitrogen (LIN) and liquid carbon dioxide (LIC).

You can count on WestAir to provide carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen (N2), and oxygen (O2), and other food grade gases in cylinders, as well as liquids in insulated tanks, for mixing at packaging machines.FreshPak_logo_CMYK-FINAL.png
