COVERSHIELD WELDING GASES
WestAir recognized over the years that many of the generic gas mixtures used
as shielding gases worked well, but had particular properties that
made some of them less efficient to use for certain welding applications.
Shielding gases such as Carbon Dioxide, Argon/Co2 mixes
and Pure Argon worked for most applications, but all displayed some
qualities that reduced the efficiencies in the welding shop.
After extensive field research, WestAir was able to identify through our customers, what their most common problems were regarding their welding processes. Through this research, we found that spatter, excessive smoke, porosity, and contaminated or improperly mixed gases are the most common and major contributors of many welding problems.
Recognizing this, WestAir has developed a complete line of Covershield gases
to increase your welding efficiencies for both Mig and Tig welding,
designed to help eliminate or reduce smoke, spatter, porosity and
increase welding travel speeds. Contact us for a no cost, no obligation
demonstration to see which Covershield gas is best suited for your
application. For more details, see our F.A.Q.
regarding our Covershield brand of Premium Shielding Gas.
COMMERCIAL WELDING GASES
Not every welding process requires a premium brand welding mixture
such as our Covershield Brand described above. Recognizing this,
WestAir Gases and Equipment continues to manufacture a complete
line of commercial grade welding and industrial mixtures and pure
gases that meet or exceed CGA (Compressed Gas Associations) requirements.
Whether your process is Spray, Short Arc or Tig, WestAir has a commercial
mixture that is suited for all welding processes and mixed to the
strictest CGA tolerances. For more information on our full line
of commercial grade mixes and gases please contact
